Earlier this month, Eagle Heights residents received information about a parking collaboration with Transportation Services that included restriping parking lots C, F, J, L, and Z. These lots are near completion, and the project will continue with other Parking Lots in the Eagle Heights community. The goal is to restripe and relabel all parking stalls in the Eagle Heights living areas.
Assignments
Each lot area will be notified, via email, when to move their vehicles during the power washing and restriping. All residents with registered vehicles will receive an email with their new assigned parking stall number and when to return to their newly assigned stall. Residents are required to use their new, assigned parking stall. If you have a vehicle and it’s not registered, you will not receive an assignment. You may register your vehicle with the front office of the Community Center, during business hours, Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-5:45 p.m., Saturdays, 9:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Registration requires:
- The make and model of your vehicle
- The year
- The color
- Your license plate number
- The state your vehicle is registered in.
*After registration, you will also receive your assigned, red baselot parking sticker and assigned parking stall.
All guest are required to use the Visitor’s parking stalls
Visitor and Paid Parking stalls are still available to use throughout Eagle Heights. The signs will return to permanently designate Visitor and Paid Parking stalls. As they need to be deeply cemented in the ground, it may take a bit longer to get the signs up. In the meantime, maps are available with the location of the current designations. You are welcome to come to the office or request a map via email: universityapartments@housing.wisc.edu. Please note that the current stalls may be subject to change.
Parking stalls are no longer permanently assigned to apartments.
Residents with vehicles will still receive one free parking stall to use. Residents will not return to their old parking stalls. We hope that relabeling the stalls to general numbers, rather than apartment numbers, will help increase the safety and security of residents living in the community, so we appreciate your flexibility while we work on this project. The project will continue until all lots are completed, weather permitting. If we are unable to complete all of the lots prior to winter weather coming in, we will resume this project in the spring.
We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to complete this project. Thank you!
