Programing Resident Manager

Hello! My name is Demetrius Solomon, and I am the new Programming Resident Manager for University Apartments. I am originally from Jacksonville, FL, and I have been a resident of Eagle Heights for a little over three years.

I am a current doctoral candidate pursuing my Ph.D. in Industrial and Systems Engineering. My research focuses on the organizational determinants of implementation, the implementation of healthcare innovations to prevent HAIs, and the selection and application of human factors & implementation theories.

Some of my hobbies are cooking, traveling, fishing, and golfing. I also enjoy playing table tennis, chess, and air hockey!

I am excited to support and foster community within University Apartments and create fun and engaging experiences for our community. If you have any recommendations for any new activities, trips, or programs you would like to see, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

Programming Resident Manager

Hello! My name is Savannah Swartz, and I am one of the new Programming Resident Managers. I’m a Wisconsin native from a very small town called Tigerton (yes, there is a place in Wisconsin named after a cat) and have been in Madison for a little over a year. I’m still in my second year of undergrad with the intention of pursuing pharmacy.

Most of the time, you will find me doing homework, reading, or watching superhero movies. Spider-Man is my favorite! For all you dog-lovers, I have two puppies back at home that I love and miss very much. MJ is a ten-month-old silver lab, and Lylah is a six-month-old yellow lab. They are true sisters: fighting one minute then cuddling the next.

I have heard that the community hasn’t been able to enjoy as many events since COVID, so I’m excited to begin bringing back activities for residents of all ages to enjoy. If anyone has any recommendations for events, don’t hesitate to reach out and share your ideas.

Danielle Wolfgang portraitDanielle Wolfgang

Leasing Coordinator

Greetings! I’m Danielle Wolfgang and I began my role as the Leasing Coordinator on November 7. I’ve been on campus for about four and a half years and am joining the University Apartments team most recently from University Housing Conference Services. I love UW-Madison and before coming here have worked in Housing at Northern Illinois and Colorado State University. Outside of work I enjoy playing cards, going to the dog park, and spending time with my family. Please say hi when we cross paths and I look forward to serving the University Apartments Community!

Thank you and I’m very excited to be a part of the UA team!

Amy Wallace portraitAmy Wallace

Resident Support Specialist

My name is Amy Wallace and I moved to Madison in 1986 to finish my undergraduate degree in Sociology at UW-Madison. Since graduating in 1991, I have been working in the nonprofit world in a variety of settings engaging youth. I have spent the past 22 years coordinating a small community partnership called The Mann Scholars Program mentoring high school students as they navigated high school and prepared a post-secondary plan to be community, college, and career ready. I share my life with my wonderful husband Bob, three amazing adult daughters, and an adorable pandemic pup named Trouper. I enjoy walking/hiking, live music, watching UW women’s volleyball, traveling, and a good game of dominos.

I am looking forward to this next chapter in my life working in the front office and supporting residents. I am excited to be a part of the University Apartments Community as I believe we are so much better when we work together! Go Badgers!
