
James (He/Him/His) is our Assistant Director for Conduct and Assistance. As part of his role, he leads our nonacademic misconduct processes, mangages student assistance cases, and represents Residence Life on the campus Behavior Intervention Team. He is also collaborates with the Office of Student Conduct and Community Standards and Office of Student Assistance and Support and serves on the Police Advisory Council and UW Sexual Assault Domestic Violence Coordinated Community Response Team.
James joined our team in 2018 as a Residence Life Coordinator in Smith Hall. He has also served as a Residence Life Coordinator in Witte Hall and as a Special Projects Coordinator focused on conduct. Prior to moving to Madison, James was a Residence Hall Director at UW Oshkosh.
Originally from Sun Prairie, Wisconsin, James completed both his BS in Geography and his MSEd in Educational Leadership and Policy from UW Oshkosh. Outside of work, he enjoys cooking, spending time with family, and coaching and playing baseball.
