Students who live in Adams Hall...

  • Believe in a community in which students play the dominant role in shaping programs and activities, building memories, exploring traditions, and creating a strong community;
  • Build a bridge between what they are learning in the classroom and what they are doing in the rest of their lives;
  • Create a welcoming community that celebrates the diversity brought by each community member;
  • Are eager to participate in service and volunteer work that benefits the larger community. Recent opportunities included setting up Children’s Olympics at Eagle Heights, cooking and serving a St. Patrick’s Day lunch at the homeless shelter, and organizing baking parties to provide snacks for a bone marrow drive to help a young boy from Guatemala.

The historic Adams Hall building was constructed in the 1920s and still today remains one of the most attractive campus buildings.

Join the student hall association, called the Federation of Adams, Slichter and Tripp = FAST!

In addition, Adams Hall is home to the International Learning Community (ILC)

New to Wisconsin - Not College: Transfer House

So you’ve already started college, right? But you still have some concerns: things like finding other students who haven’t yet found their friend “circle,” adjusting to new class sizes and instruction methods, and finding necessary resources around campus.

University Housing provides a living option specifically designed for you! Beginning in Fall 2012, the Transfer House, previously located in Tripp Hall, will be comprised of three houses in Adams Hall. These houses will be home to a total of 95 residents within Adams Hall. This community is only available to transfer students.

By living with other transfer students, it is easier to make social connections and get involved around campus. During your transition, the staff will work to help you meet your academic and social needs.
