Welcome to Phillips Hall

A Fabulous Lakeshore Home

Phillips Hall boasts some of the best lake views on campus and is a great place to live for first-year and continuing students alike. The double rooms are spacious with their own private bathrooms. Phillips Hall was formerly used as a conference center for university guests and has a warm, home-like atmosphere for students to enjoy.

This coed hall is the perfect size for everyone to get to know one another. Plan a tennis match on the nearby tennis courts or swim at the Natatorium just across the parking lot. Upperclass students majoring in nursing, pharmacy, or one of the life sciences will love the proximity to classrooms. Grab a bite at nearby Lakeshore Hall on your way to class. It won’t take you long to figure out why we say that Phillips Hall is a great place to live!

Open House: The Gender Learning Community (Coming August 2013)

Sponsored by the Gender and Women's Studies Department, Open House welcomes students who wish to examine both conventional and transformational assumptions about gender and sexuality. Students from all genders, sexualities, and racial/ethnic/cultural backgrounds/disciplines are invited to learn in a safe and inviting space within the beautiful Phillips Hall on the shore of Lake Mendota.
